It is generally not possible to reserve a tent pitch in advance, as our tent pitches are not parcelled out.
We always have a pitch available for cyclists and pedestrians, so you can simply drop by.

You pay a pitch fee for a pitch (motorhome/caravan or tent) at Park-Camping Lindau a pitch fee. In addition, we charge a personal fee for you and all fellow travellers.
There is also a visitor’s tax from the town of Lindau. The current prices can be found in our price list.

Travelling to Park-Camping Lindau is easy by car or train. From the Lindau-Reutin long-distance railway station or the Lindau island railway station, the Lindau city bus line 5 runs directly to the Grenzsiedlung/Zech stop. From here it is only a few minutes’ walk to Park-Camping Lindau.

We always recommend making a reservation so that you can be sure of a pitch. Park-Camping Lindau is often fully booked in the high season, on long holiday weekends and when the weather forecast is good for a long time.

Yes, minors from the age of 16 and up to the age of 17 are also entitled to stay overnight at Park-Camping Lindau without a parent or guardian or an adult supervisor. The prerequisite for this is the presentation of the fully completed form for underage travellers in combination with a valid copy of the identity card of the legal guardian(s)

On the day of arrival, the rented pitch is available from 13:00 (in the winter season from 11:30). Reception is closed on Wednesdays from 12:00-14:00 due to the weekly team meeting.

Yes, please let us know in good time by phone or email if you will be arriving outside opening hours. Please note that the barriers do not open during the night from 10.30 p.m. to 7.00 a.m. and entry is unfortunately not possible at this time.

In front of the entrance area of our campsite there are 12 motorhome pitches (without electricity) available for travellers with motorhomes (caravans not permitted) for a maximum use of 24 hours. If you have found a transit pitch, please check in at reception.
If you arrive after our reception hours, please check in at reception the next morning before you leave. The use of the supply and disposal station (only possible during reception hours) and the facilities of ParkCamping Lindau are included. These include: Sanitary facilities, cooking area, bathing beach, sports facilities, children’s playground

We do not offer permanent pitches so that many guests can enjoy the Park-Camping Lindau experience.

Listenhunde sind grundsätzlich auf unserem Platz nicht erlaubt. All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times on our site, roller leads are not permitted. You may only walk your dog outside the campsite grounds. Please avoid defecating on the site, otherwise please pick it up properly and dispose of it in the designated dog waste stations.

Should you unfortunately have to cancel your fixed booking, we will charge a processing fee of € 30.00. This amount cannot be credited to your next booking.

Our quiet hours are from 12:30 to 14:00 and from 22:30 to 07:00 (nighttime quiet hours).
The barriers at the entrance to the site do not open during the nighttime quiet hours. Please refrain from noisy activities and do not move your car during this time.

Of course, your guests are welcome on the site. However, for security reasons, we kindly ask you to register your visit so that the park management can ensure that only authorized persons are on the Park-Camping Lindau at any given time.

To ensure that the lawn receives enough oxygen and does not die, we kindly ask you not to cover the grass with plastic sheeting at your parking space.

Smoking is generally allowed, but we ask for your understanding that smoking is prohibited in all sanitary facilities and in the common room. The consumption of marijuana is not allowed. And please don’t forget: cigarette butts do not belong on the floor, but in the residual waste.

To ensure that all our guests feel comfortable, please observe the site rules, which you will find on the back of the site plan.

Park-Camping Lindau is blessed with a variety of different trees, which help to create the unique flair of the place. Blossoming in spring and shedding acorns and chestnuts in fall are part of the changing seasons. If you find this unpleasant, please contact the reception and we will try to find a solution.

Outside of the opening hours of the reception, a security service is on site in the main season from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Baked goods, milk and milk alternatives are available from Monday to Saturday (except on holidays) from 8:00-9:30 a.m. directly at the Park-Camping Lindau at the washing and cooking pavilion. Another option is the Schwarz bakery at Bregenzer Straße 150, about a 3-minute walk away.

At Park-Camping Lindau, you have the opportunity to purchase fresh, regional products such as fruit, vegetables, sausage and cheese specialties, in addition to the bakery service twice a week.

All parking spaces (except for the transit spaces) have an electricity connection. At reception, you can get a cable drum on request and subject to availability, for a deposit of €50. You can also get CEE adapters for connection to the European sockets (€20 deposit). Tip: Use our free charging station for mobile phones, tablets and e-book readers near reception. 10 lockable compartments are designed for all common connections. You can get the keys at the reception for a deposit. You can conveniently charge your bicycle battery at your parking space. Good to know: Our power distributors are protected by 10 to 16 amps. 90 percent of the energy we provide is from green electricity.

We will be happy to mow your parking space on request. Please register at the reception.

Due to the many beautiful trees, satellite reception is not optimal on every pitch. On category B pitches, you will find a cable TV connection in the junction box. If you need an adapter, we will be happy to help you at the reception.

Wireless, free internet is of course available on the premises. Depending on the number of guests at Park-Camping Lindau, availability and speed may be reduced. You can find information on use, access data or a QR code for registration in the reception entrance area.

If you have lost or found something, please report to us at the reception. Most things turn up here! If you have lost something in Lindau, please contact the municipal lost property office at Bregenzer Straße 12, telephone: 08382- 918317.

Have you finished reading a book or magazine? Then simply replace it on the bookshelf in the recreation room.

If you have opted to have your newspaper forwarded or are expecting a package, the post office will usually deliver your newspaper or package to us at the reception between 12:00 and 13:00. Please always provide your name and pitch number for package deliveries.

All fountains and taps provide fresh water of drinking quality for your daily needs. The fountains are intended for water withdrawal only. It is not allowed to do the dishes or wash clothes at the fountains. You can easily refill your fresh water tank at the service point (gray water disposal) at the front of sanitary building 1.

If necessary, gray water and feces can be disposed of in the sanitary buildings 1 and 3. The chemical toilets are located there. All rainwater drains (gullies) of the Park-Camping Lindau flow directly into Lake Constance. Please do not dispose of your gray water there or let it into the ground!

Waste separation is very important to us for ecological reasons. Please sort your waste into paper, sales packaging, aluminum, bottles, glasses and residual waste. The signposted collection point is located at the entrance and exit of the Park-Camping Lindau and can be reached via the passageway to the right of the Strandhaus restaurant building. The dog waste stations are intended solely for the disposal of dog waste bags.

You can hand in outgoing and sufficiently stamped mail at the reception during opening hours. Stamps and postcards are available at the reception. You will find a branch of the German Post Office next to the Hotel-Gasthaus Zecher, Bregenzer Straße 148.

The Euro key is required to use the toilet. If you do not have this with you, you can obtain it from us at reception for a deposit (€25), subject to availability.

Barbecues are of course permitted. We ask for your understanding that barbecues are only permitted with gas, electric or charcoal barbecues. Disposable barbecues and open fires are strictly prohibited on the entire site and on the beach! You will find a large, public fireplace on the neighboring grounds in Zecher Seglerhafen near the harbor restaurant.

You can prepare delicious food to your heart’s content in our cooking pavilion. Four gas stoves with two plates each are available for you to use (12min / 0.20€), as well as additional facilities for washing up and freely accessible sockets.

It is best to do your washing up in sanitary area 1 (entrance at the family tent meadow) or, during the summer months, in the cooking pavilion and in sanitary building 3.

We will be happy to exchange your empty gas cylinder for a full one at reception. Please note that we only exchange returnable cylinders provided by the retailer.

Hand basins, washing machines and dryers are available at the back of sanitary building 1. The appliances can be used with a loaded Camp-Card. You can have it loaded at the reception. Detergent tabs can also be purchased at the reception if required.

We offer you the opportunity to take advantage of the following leisure activities: Basketball, beach volleyball, soccer, outdoor chess, slack line, children’s playground, table tennis. You can obtain the necessary sports equipment for a personal deposit (cell phone, ID, etc.) at our reception. There is also a pool table (deposit of €20.00 for cues; deposit of €1 or €2 coins – €1 per game), 2 table football tables (deposit of 50 cents, €1 or €2 coins) and 3 pinball machines (deposit of 50 cents, €1 or €2 coins). All play equipment on our premises is youth-free. Bicycles and e-bikes as well as kayaks, canoes and SUPs can be hired from us. Please register at the reception desk.

Park-Camping Lindau offers a natural beach with sunbathing lawn and access to the lake including steps with handrails. Despite all the fun in the cool water, we ask our bathers to show consideration for one another. Please note that there is no lifeguard on site. As at many other bathing spots on Lake Constance, swimming is at your own risk. We would also like to point out that dogs are not allowed in the water in the area of the bathing beach on the camping site.

Does a sundial also work in rainy weather? Why are there dwellings for bats on the shores of Lake Constance? And where does all the driftwood actually come from?

Experience nature while walking or hiking – and learn a lot about the flora and fauna in the process: Nature trails are popular with young and old alike. The playful combination of theory and practice is particularly popular with young explorers and naturalists. Our trail leads across the entire area of the site and impressively shows everything that grows, thrives and blooms here!

Tip: Your ECHT BODENSEE CARD guest card includes the use of local public transport on the German shores of Lake Constance.

The nearest train stations are in Lindau-Reutin (3km) on Lindau-Insel (5km) and in Lochau (1km) in Austria. The Austrian bus line 129 takes you from the bus stop Grenzsiedlung/Bregenzer Straße 162 to Lochau train station.

The Grenzsiedlung/Zech stop (towards Lindau Insel) is just a four-minute walk away. Line no. 5 runs there every 30 minutes (’20 and ’50). Click here for the city bus timetable.

The vignette, which is required for the use of most highways in Austria and Switzerland, can be obtained at petrol stations in the area and directly at the border crossings. Driving without a vignette is possible on the Austrian highway up to the Hohenems/Diepoldsau exit. Please make sure you always carry your identity card or passport with you on trips to Austria or Switzerland.

You can wash your car at the Aral petrol station in Lindau, Robert-Bosch-Straße 40, and at the Lindau self-service car wash, Von-Behring-Straße 1. Just over the border on the right-hand side of the road you will also find the Schindele petrol station with car wash.

You can reach the medical on-call service on 116 117. In an emergency, dial 112 to alert the fire department and ambulance service. Please make sure that your cell phone is registered in the German mobile network. You can reach the police in an emergency by calling 110.

The nearest pharmacy is the Bahnhofs-Apotheke am Lindaupark, in Bregenzer Str. 51. You can find information about the pharmacy here.

You will find a family doctor’s practice not far from Park-Camping Lindau. Please contact the Zech medical center. In emergencies, you can also use the emergency outpatient clinic at the Asklepios Klinik Lindau.

If there is a risk of flooding, we will inform you promptly.

Please note: In an emergency, you must follow the instructions of our employees!

The weather can change quickly at the lake. Even when there appears to be no wind, squalls and heavy rain can occur within a few minutes. For this reason, more than 60 storm warning lights are installed around Lake Constance close to the shore so that the signals can be seen from anywhere on or near the water. Strong winds are indicated by 40 orange flashes per second. If the lights flash faster, at 90 flashes per minute, then there is a storm and danger to life and limb. For your own safety, please move to the shore immediately in strong winds. We also recommend securing awnings, loose objects and furniture on the pitch and retracting awnings as a precaution. If there is a risk of thunderstorms, please go to the recreation room immediately! Despite intensive tree care, dangers from broken branches on the pitch cannot be ruled out.

In addition to our on-site baked goods sales, the Schwarz bakery in Bregenzer Straße 150 offers baked goods and coffee specialties from Monday to Sunday.

Our tip: The “Strandhaus” barbecue restaurant directly at Park-Camping Lindau. You can expect classics such as rump or fillet steaks, but also insider tips that you have certainly never enjoyed before – so perfectly grilled to perfection! The meat comes exclusively from cattle and pigs from the region that are reared in a species-appropriate manner. Due to the high demand, we recommend that you reserve a table in advance.

Just a few meters away on foot, you will find modern Swabian cuisine and pizza at Gasthof “Zum Zecher” (Bregenzer Straße 146) and oriental cuisine at Rosins Imbiss (Bregenzer Straße 162). From April to September, you can enjoy traditional cuisine at Hafenrestaurant Zech, 300m from Park-Camping Lindau.

We offer some camping articles directly at Park-Camping Lindau. Please ask at reception. Adfunture Outdoor at Kemptener Straße 67 and the OBI DIY store at Bregenzer Straße 105 also stock a selection of camping items.

There is a LIDL store at Zechwaldstraße 1 (400 m) and a SPAR store at Seestraße 17 in Hörbranz (850 m) in the immediate vicinity of the square.

Fresh regional products, direct from the producer, are available two days a week at Park-Camping Lindau. Also very close by: The “Hofladen Schweizer” (Rickenbacher Straße 125) and “Obstbau Nüberlin” in Peter-Dornier-Straße 1.

It takes about 1 hour to walk to the Pfänderbahn valley station. By public transport, you can reach the Bregenz harbour station (from here, it is only a few minutes’ walk to the Pfänderbahn) every 30 minutes from Lochau railway station. Alternatively, you can take bus 128 directly to the Pfänder from Lochau railway station.

Fishing on the Bavarian and Austrian shores of Lake Constance is permitted with a fishing licence. You can obtain these at reception. Fishing on the shores of Park-Camping Lindau is not permitted. Please note: Young people may only fish on the Bavarian shore of Lake Constance if accompanied by an authorised adult.

In Lindau, the Hundertwasser Forum awaits you all year round with changing exhibitions about his life’s work. In the newly opened Museum Cavazzen, history can be experienced beyond the city limits using multimedia. Lindau’s entire, diverse and rich cultural programme can be found here.

The nearest minigolf course is located nearby in Hörbranz, Austria (Lindauer Str. 58, near the Prinz distillery).

There are two courts in the immediate vicinity of Park-Camping Lindau: the “Tennisfreunde Reutin e.V.” (Rickenbacher Str. 72) and the “Tennisclub Lindau” (Wackerstraße 55). We will be happy to make an appointment for you.

Anyone who is enthusiastic about the floating giants must visit the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen! There you can even marvel at a walk-in replica of the legendary Hindenburg.

Please ensure that you always carry your identity card or passport with you on trips to Austria or Switzerland. Carrying a pet passport for dogs is mandatory.

The topic of sustainability is very important to us, which is why we have been scrutinised by Ecocamping on site and received the Ecocamping award. To this end, measures to improve sustainability are planned individually and form the basis for the operational development of Park-Camping Lindau in the coming years. Other requirements, such as the training and participation of employees, the recording of waste, energy and water consumption and the preparation of an Ecocamping report are integral parts of this award.

We owe the unique flair at Park-Camping Lindau to the marvellous location directly on Lake Constance and the pristine proximity to nature. We can all contribute to preserving it for future generations. Please help and ensure that resources such as electricity and water are used sparingly and respect designated nature reserves and quiet zones for plants and animals!

Numerous rare species of plants, birds, mussels and fish thrive on Lake Constance, including in our bay! We ask you

• refrain from feeding the wild animals
• do not uproot plants and move carefully on the beach
• clean your own SUPs and boats of any kind thoroughly before and after launching them.

It goes without saying that we endeavour to ensure the greatest possible cleanliness. This applies in particular to the beach, which we clean for you every day during the bathing season. At the same time, harmony with nature is our top priority. We therefore ask for your understanding that wood is a natural flotsam on Lake Constance, which occurs in large quantities and therefore cannot always be completely removed.
