The Lake Constance region is internationally known for being particularly family and child friendly. Parents with children of all ages are also welcome at Park-Camping Lindau! And if you want, bring grandma and grandpa along too!
Childcare: varied program for your little ones
Bored? Never! Park-Camping Lindau also has a lot of fun to offer for children of all ages. While the parents relax for a few hours in the morning, our caretakers take care of the offspring with a variety of activities.
The meeting point for the children’s entertainment during the vacation season is the room directly opposite our reception. There the little ones can let off steam to their heart’s content, do handicrafts, take part in fun games or discover their creativity. An ideal opportunity for the children to make new friends!
Times:
- Childcare available from 24 June 2024
- Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Participation/suitable for:
- children aged 5 years and older, no diaper needed anymore
- one to two caregivers take care of 10 to 15 children
- registration is neccessary and required at the Pirate`s Nest
- weekly schedule of activities in the display in front of the reception
Sanitary facilities for families: thought of everything
In addition to individual shower cabins, our sanitary facilities also include large family showers specially designed to meet the needs of parents and children.
In sanitary facility 3 there is also a separate children’s washroom with a changing station. Here, the washbasins are specially adapted to the size of our little guests. And if the little ones still can’t see themselves in the mirror, we have appropriate step stools on site.
Lots of adventures for children and teenagers
There is simply no time for being bored at Park-Camping Lindau! Children and teenagers of all ages will find a lot to experience on the entire site:
- Playground with climbing tower, slide and see-saw, which parents can use with their children all day outside the rest periods
- Beach with a shallow bay – ideal for children who do not yet know how to swim but want to take their first steps into the lake under the supervision of their parents
- Playground for soccer, volleyball and basketball
- Table tennis
- Boule
The Lake Constance region also has many exciting leisure activities for children and young people in the immediate vicinity, such as
- Therme Lindau – a recreational paradise for the whole family with a great view of the lake and the mountains
- Pfänder, one of the most impressive mountains in the region with the Pfänderbahn, large playground and alpine game park with small animal enclosure
- inatura, the natural history museum, where you can touch almost everything and try it out for yourself
- Skywalk im Allgäu, to experience special perspectives

- Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen: In the largest technology museum on Lake Constance, the whole fascination of aviation and space travel can be experienced up close for children and young people
