Very trendy: stand-up paddling. The challenge to body control and sense of balance. You stand on the board and control all movements with the paddle – fun for everyone who doesn’t mind getting wet. Try it out!

The best way to get to know Lake Constance is to hop on your bike or e-scooter and simply take a relaxing ride along the long paths along the shore. You should not miss a detour to the old town on the island with its picturesque harbor promenade. Or you can cycle in the direction of Schachen, let yourself be enchanted by the sophisticated Wilhelminian villas and take a break under the mighty trees of the idyllic, listed Lindenhof Park.
Still in the mood for more? Then simply ride along the panoramic bike circuit and discover Wasserburg with its peninsula and the historic parish church of St. Georg or the wine village of Nonnenhorn.
Romantic orchards line the path, as do cafés and restaurants that invite you to pause and soak up the special atmosphere of the Lake Constance landscape with its tranquil villages.

Bikes can be collected from 10am. Bikes must be returned by 9am the following day.
Fresh herbs are among the most important ingredients that TV chef Klaus Winter uses to create his exquisite culinary creations at the “Strandhaus Lindau”. On the 14 stations of our herb trail, you will experience at first hand which local herbs you can use to conjure up extraordinary taste experiences at home with simple means. At each location, a plaque explains the special properties of the aromatic (and sometimes healing) kitchen helpers.
