Lighthouse

You are exploring the Lake Constance region by bike and want to give your tired legs a short breather in Lindau? Then you should definitely make a stop at Park-Camping Lindau with your bike and tent!

Perfect stopover on the Lake Constance bike tour

Tourists passing through by bicycle can book a place on our two tent meadows also only for one night – a reservation in advance is not possible in this case, however. For this purpose, there is enough space in front of the campground to park the bicycles.

The two tent sites are not parceled out and are only a few steps away from the “Marktplatz Strandkorb”. The sanitary facilities are also in the immediate vicinity.
If it gets too uncomfortable in the tent during bad weather, you can warm up in our heated lounge. There you will find not only comfortable seating, but also our small library.

Electricity and water connections are available around the clock on the tent meadows.

Cell phones, tablets, laptops and other mobile devices can be charged free of charge at our cell phone charging station.

Please note: We do not have an e-bike charging station.

Cyclist paradise Lake Constance

From a relaxed day trip on the well-developed bike paths around the lake to a real challenge in the mountainous surrounding countryside: in the Lindau area, recreational athletes with road bikes, touring bikes, mountain bikes and e-bikes get their money’s worth in equal measure:

Panorama bike tour: Just right for people who simply enjoy cycling and have no major sporting ambitions. The 26 km long route leads to the six most beautiful viewpoints of Lake Lindau – past idyllic orchards, vineyards and hospitable villages. The route does not have any major climbs and can be completed comfortably in 3 hours.

Lake Constance Cycle Route: Start a bike tour around Lake Constance best from Lindau in the direction of Bregenz. The 280 km long, easy to ride and well-maintained route takes you past the most important sights of the Lake Constance region: from the Pfänderbahn to the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen and the flower island of Mainau to the World Heritage Site of Reichenau Island with the unique Basilica of St. George from the 9th century. You should also not miss a tour of the historic council city of Constance and a visit to the baroque pilgrimage church of Birnau.

Lake Constance-Königssee Cycle Route: Fit cyclists can complete the hilly route, which takes them past the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau and the salt mines of Bad Reichenhall, in three to five days. The challenge is to cover about 4,000 meters in altitude and a distance of about 480 km. A treat for ambitious recreational athletes!

A flat tire or a broken chain can be quite frustrating on a long bike ride – unless help is on hand quickly! In Lindau, you’re in luck: In case of an emergency, around 20 bicycle repair shops will take care of your bike – and some of them also offer rental bikes. You can get this and more information about bike tours in the Lindau area at our reception or on the tourist page.
