Park-Camping Lindau often welcomes many guests who have been coming to us again and again for decades. In the Strandhaus restaurant, for example, you can enjoy real culinary highlights from the grill and the BBQ smoker, and both meat fans and vegetarians get their money’s worth. In addition to the restaurant business, the operators Jasmin Schwabe-Winter and Klaus Winter and their team also offer unique experiences, such as an exclusive “sea breakfast” or “Sundwoner menu” on board the MotorYacht Strandhaus – exclusively for 2 people or with the family.
The culinary offer in the restaurant Strandhaus ranges from delicious, completely homemade burgers to specialties from the grill and from the wood-fired barbecue oven to delicious vegetarian dishes and sumptuous BBQ buffets: The “Strandhaus Lindau” of grill professional Klaus Winter and his wife Jasmin Schwabe-Winter (SommeliĂ©re) processes thereby exclusively fresh, high-quality products from the Bodensee region and from the AllgĂ€u. Ready-made products are not on the table of TV chef Winter, who has his own cooking show “Winter grills” on Regio-TV and YouTube. Klaus Winter and his kitchen team are in their element at the grill and smoker: cooking times of up to 12 hours and homemade spice mixtures transform meat from AllgĂ€u pasture-raised beef and Upper Swabian pork into wonderfully tender specialties. By the way, for the past five years, the “Strandhaus” has been ranked number one among all restaurants in Lindau by TripAdvisor. In 2020, the “Strandhaus” was also awarded the Travellers Choice Award – making it one of the ten percent best restaurants worldwide according to TripAdvisor.

Klaus Winter passes on his knowledge of grilling, barbecue & co. to the guests of Park Camping Lindau in regular seminars. His entertaining and informative barbecue seminars are usually booked up in a very short time. Whether all-round courses with multi-course menus on charcoal, gas, Tepanyaki and high-temperature grills or seminars on topics such as the barbecue smoker, fine special cuts of beef and pork or completely homemade BBQ sauces and chutneys – at all seminars the barbecue professional is at your side with his know-how. Therefore it means to be fast. It’s best to secure tickets for Klaus Winter’s barbecue school before your vacation!
